Information We Collect
- Personal identification information: your name, email address and (if provided) phone number and billing address, given voluntarily when you register, check out or contact us. Passwords are stored only as salted hashes.
- Payment and billing information: we record the plan, amount, currency and payment reference to issue invoices. Card and bank details are entered with, and securely handled by, trusted third-party payment processors (such as PayHere). We do not store or have access to your full payment details.
- Licence information: subscription status, seats, and for each activated computer a hashed device identifier and the computer's name.
- Browsing information: IP address, browser type, device information and approximate country, collected automatically using cookies and similar technologies.
- Content you send us: forum posts, images, support tickets, attachments, bug reports and contact messages.
Use of Information
- To create your account, deliver your licence and process and fulfil your orders and invoices.
- To communicate with you about your purchases, provide customer support and respond to enquiries.
- To improve our website, software and services based on feedback, bug reports and usage patterns.
- To detect and prevent fraud, unauthorised activity and abuse of our website.

Genie Render renders on your own computer. Your scene files, models and images are not uploaded to us. The app contacts our server only for licence checks, update checks and problem reports you choose to send.

We use industry-standard measures to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction, including HTTPS, hashed passwords and signed licence tokens. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and to protect forms, and similar technologies to analyse website traffic. We do not use advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the website (such as signing in) will then not work. Embedded videos may set their own cookies when played.
Retention and Your Rights
We keep account and billing records while your account is active and as long as the law requires. You can edit your profile and billing details in your account, and you may ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or close your account, by contacting us. Some billing records must be kept by law.
