Genie Render is downloadable software sold as a monthly or yearly subscription, so this policy covers cancellations and refunds for a digital service rather than returns of physical goods. No physical items are shipped, so there are no return shipping costs.
Try Before You Buy
Every installation includes a free 7-day trial, and a free beta download is available. Please confirm that Genie Render works on your hardware and with your scenes before subscribing.
Cancellations
- You can cancel your subscription at any time, from your payment provider's subscription page or by emailing us. We will stop all future charges.
- After cancelling you keep full access until the end of the billing period you already paid for, and you will not be charged again.
- To avoid a renewal charge, cancel before your renewal date.
Refunds
Because Genie Render is a digital product that is delivered and usable immediately, and because we offer a free 7-day trial and a free beta so you can test it first, subscription payments are non-refundable. This includes the first payment, renewals, and any unused part of a billing period.
The only cases where we issue a refund are:
- Duplicate or mistaken charges, where you were charged more than once or for the wrong amount.
- Non-delivery: you were charged but did not receive access to the software or your licence, and we cannot fix it.
- Unauthorised charges, where a payment was made without your authority.
- Where a refund is required by applicable law.
Exchanges / Changing Plans
You can switch between the monthly and yearly plan, or change the number of seats, by contacting us. The change takes effect at your next renewal unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Failed Payments and Access Problems
If a payment fails, no licence is issued and you are not charged. If you were charged but did not receive access, contact us with the email used at checkout and we will fix it or refund you. After a successful payment you receive access by email and in your genierender.com account, where you set a password and sign in to the app.
Processing Time
We reply to requests within 3 business days. Approved refunds are issued within 5 business days to the original payment method; depending on your bank or payment provider it can take up to 14 business days to appear. A refund ends the subscription and licence immediately.
